Ameriplan USA Home Business Evaluation

Ameriplan Dental

As a business model, Ameriplan Health is unbeatable in its unique idea and the benefits it provides to members.Since 1992, Ameriplan has offered medical services at a rebate of up to 80% to its members for a monthly charge of between $20 and $50.

Ameriplan Dental was the first discounted service to be launched by the company; it was soon followed by vision care, chiropractic care, prescription drugs and medical care.

This article aims to explore the income opportunity provided by Ameriplan to its Independent Business Owners (IBOs) through its MLM business. It’s tempting to read claims made by the company when it says it wants its IBOs to earn as much as $50,000 in the first year and a six figure income from the second year onwards. Let’s see if this is a realistic claim and see the pros and cons of the income opportunity.

1 Why Ameriplan Business?

2 An attractive compensation plan that offers 30% commission on all sales, good residual income, Ameriplan benefits to your family and a lot of other promotional offers that give you access to good discounts on purchases from merchant partners.

3 Considering the fact that 7 out of 10 Americans are uninsured or underinsured, IBOs have a good opportunity to promote Ameriplan’s program.

4 The company offers coaching in selling skills and gives you two websites with full back office support to market your business.

All these factors are tempting enough to pull people out of their regular work to join as an IBO in Ameriplan; yet people should also know, not everyone who joins hits the jackpot. For most reps, it’s difficult to earn a decent income even when they work full time.

Consider this before joining

1 When the product price is low, your commission’s also low. Ameriplan’s services are offered at between $20 and $50 a month. So though your commission rate’s high at 30%, you’ll need to generate a high volume of business to earn a decent residual income.

2 You’ll be taught how to list out names you know and speak to them; don’t expect to earn much from your list of contacts. Just be prepared to spend a lot of your time and energy over the phone.

3 And what happens after you’ve approached everyone you know? Picture yourself chasing people in malls and public places for a “few minutes of their time”!

However, don’t let this discourage you from joining Ameriplan.Just chart out the right marketing strategy and you’ll find yourself giving interviews on how you came to earn such a good income in Ameriplan. Simple, but effective – just market your business online and see the effect it has. Use latest techniques to market such as facebook and articles marketing and see your profits mounting. This is a hassle free way of connecting with people who are interested in what you have to offer.

Ameriplan Business Opportunity – A Review

Ameriplan Dental

The Ameriplan Income Opportunity is probably the most disputed business on the Internet. On one hand, people claim it’s a wonderful plan with good benefits and go so far to say you could earn six figure incomes as an Ameriplan distributor. On the other hand, there are people who claim Ameriplan’s a scam and that it’s impossible to earn a decent income from this opportunity. If you are interested in becoming an Independent Business Operator (IBO) of Ameriplan, but not sure of the feasibility of the scheme, read on to learn the facts and decide for yourself if it’s a worthwhile venture.

•    Ameriplan – Background Of The Company
Ameriplan was started by identical twins Daniel and Dennis Bloom in 1992 in Texas to offer discounted health service to customers for a small monthly fee. This was a big boon to many people who had no insurance cover or were underinsured especially in a situation where dental, vision, medical and pet care costs were sky-high.Through this scheme, for a small payment every month, a sizable rebate could be availed on medical services.

•    Ameriplan USA Data
Ameriplan claims seven out of ten Americans are uninsured or underinsured. This is good news to distributors to market Ameriplan Health. The Ameriplan Health Care discount program is accepted by over 30000 dental providers, 60000 Medical providers, 7500 Chiropractic providers, 56000 retail pharmacies, 12000 optical providers and 4000 hearing care providers.

•    Ameriplan USA IBOs – What Do They Get?
Distributors for Ameriplan are called Independent Business Owner (IBO). To become an IBO, you need to pay a start up fee of $20 and a monthly fee of $50.The earning potential offered by Ameriplan is quite tempting. IBOs get 30% commission on orders, a good residual income, a daily pay check and Ameriplan benefits to family members. There’s a good support system with 45 regional offices to help IBOs. Initial training and material is offered to all reps when they join.
This seems like a straightforward scheme with excellent earning prospects; then why are so many people against this income opportunity? Though there are people who claim to earn six figure incomes every year, most Ameriplan reps earn less than average income and have to face a high attrition level in their downline, cutting down their residual income. The reasons?

-    The training program is not designed to teach people to earn well. IBOs are just taught to make a list of people they know and approach them, get references, hire them etc. These are routine MLM practices and long outdated.
-    It’s not easy to find people who don’t have enough insurance cover to market this product.

It’s better when you have interested customers finding you instead of you having to go to them. One simple way to achieve this outcome is by taking your business online. Facebook and articles marketing are just a few approaches to establish a successful internet business and to get interested parties to approach you.

Are Old School Network Marketing Prospecting Tactics Letting You Down?

If you have even been in a Network Marketing program you are probably already familiar with the old school marketing strategies.  You know the ones, make a list of all your family and friends, put up signs on all the telephone poles, flyers on bulletin boards, drop cards, door hangers, hotel meetings, cold calling, and the infamous 3 foot rule.

Unless you are one of the very few exceptions, my guess is that these techniques didn’t work for you.  If they did, great, and congratulations.  However, if they didn’t, you’re certainly not alone.  No matter how hard you try, these techniques just do not work for most people in Network Marketing.  That’s why there is such a high failure rate in the industry.

Each time I joined a new Multi Level Marketing company in the past, I was introduced to these and similar techniques.  While there were slight variations with each company or upline sponsor, the essence of each company’s marketing strategy involved some variation of these tactics.  Basically, it all boiled down to calling and bugging everyone I could think of and every new lead to see if they might be interested in an opportunity to make some extra money.

However, what they either didn’t tell me or at least played down, was the large amount of rejection I would have to face.  Approaching a disinterested, untargeted market not only resulted in a large amount of out right rejection, it also created some amount of hostility.

So my upline responded by recommending that I buy opportunity leads and call them.  If you call enough folks, a certain number will join.  It is just a matter of calling more leads if you want to sponsor more people, the story went.

Instead of landing a large number of new recruits, I faces more rejection, hung up phones and hostile responses from this supposedly opportunity seeking list.  Most of them had no interest whatsoever in anything to do with Multi Level Marketing.

Now I was getting deeper and deeper into debt purchasing leads and had zero to show for it.

I finally threw in the towel and got out of the industry for a while, defeated and licking my wounds.  That is until I ran across a much easier and better method of sponsoring.  The new method used the Internet and soon had people coming to me as opposed to me having to go hunting for them.

Using attraction marketing techniques, I soon learned the secrets of offering desirable and useful information to a targeted audience, build a relationship with them and get them to come to me asking to join my team.

{So, if the traditional Network Marketing techniques are not working for you, I strongly suggest that you take a look at the new school attraction marketing methods and don’t be held back by obsolete marketing techniques, or at least marketing methods that aren’t working for you.}
